Quesos El Pastor triumphs at the World Cheese Awards with nine medals

Four silver and five bronze medals guarantee the quality of the products made by Quesos El Pastor.

World Cheese Awards, the international reference contest for the cheese sector, rewards one more edition of the wide portfolio of products from Quesos El Pastor. A varied assortment that, with these distinctions, receives new support for the trajectory of this family cheese factory based in Santa Cristina de la Polvorosa (Zamora).

In the 2021-22 edition there are nine references marketed by Quesos El Pastor who have obtained an award. The two silver medals stand out for him Santtum semi-cured blended cheese and Cured sheep cheese DO Zamorano El Pastor of Santa Cristina, one of the star products of the Zamora brand. This cheese, protected by the denomination of origin Queso Zamorano, has obtained multiple international recognitions, to which this new award is added.

Both silver medals have obtained the Blue Cheese PGI Valdeón Talenus Blue and goat cheese log with Papaya. Awards that endorse the strategy of Quesos El Pastor for diversifying its products and its permanent commitment to innovation.

The World Cheese Awards of this edition recognize the following references with a bronze medal: Cured sheep cheese castellano San Ruffino, Reserve blended cheese El Pastor de la Polvorosa, goat delicacies with rosemary, goat log with pineapple and Kabernus Blue cow's cheese.
