Quesos El Pastor continues its relentless commitment to continuous improvement and diversification of its product portfolio. On this occasion, the international showcase of the Barcelona Food Fair serves as the setting for the launch of three new families of products: "lactose-free", "spicy" and "blue". Under the motto "a world full of flavors", Quesos El Pastor once again demonstrates its ability to respond to the international distribution market.
Lactose free old leg
With this new reference of a long-maturing pressed pasta cheese (large reserve or aged), a gap in the food market is covered. Now anyone lactose intolerant can enjoy flavored cheese. In this way, no home will renounce the taste of a great cheese due to the increasingly common lactose intolerance. Available in 3 kg piece formats, 200 g wedge and 150 g ready-to-serve cut tops.
Special spicy cheese burgers
The orientation of Quesos El Pastor Due to innovation, with the accumulated experience of exporting to more than 60 countries, it has been possible to detect the market need for a special spicy cheese for hamburgers. Available in 2,7 kg bar and 80 g slices.
Talenus Blue Cheese and Kabernus Blue
Quesos El Pastor and Quesos Picos de Europa come together to offer a very high quality and internationally recognized product. The “blue” range is made up of Kabernus Blue (piece and jar of blue cheese cream) and Talenus (piece and half piece).
This latest launch is covered under the Valdeón Cheese IGP, which joins the other quality figures that guarantee the quality of the products Quesos El Pastor: DOP Zamorano Cheese and the guarantee marks Tierra de Sabor y Queso Castellano.
Another of the products most demanded by the market is the entire range of goat cheese logs, which are so well accepted by national and international consumers. A family with a multitude of formats and flavors that delight all cheese lovers. As do sheep and goat cheeses and the unique specialties of Quesos El Pastor. In addition, frozen IQF products increase the possibilities for industrial consumption of high-quality products, with IFS and BRC Food certifications.
All these products will be the protagonists of a stand of more than 200 m2 located in the Gran Vía Venue - Hall 4 - Level 0 - Stand D428. A space that aims to condense the know-how of more than 50 years of artisan production supported by new technologies. For example, the use of bactofugadoras allow healthier formulations by eliminating bacteria without the need to use preservatives and additives.

Currently, more than 100 million liters of milk are processed and more than 14 million kilos of cheese are produced.
