KITCHEN WITH EL PASTOR - Cheese fingers

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams of Blended Tierno Santtum cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • Bread crumbs
  • Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Spices to taste (For example: oregano, garlic powder, pepper)

 

DEVELOPMENT

We cut the elongated chunk cheese block, from a rough measurement of the index finger.

Once the entire block of cheese is cut, we coat each chunk. First by beaten egg, to which we add a pinch of salt and spices. Then we go through breadcrumbs, then again with beaten egg and again with breadcrumbs. This way we will get a very crisp outer layer and we will make the cheese fingers seal better

Once all are breaded, we keep them in the fridge for about an hour so that the breading settles well.

After time, we fry them a minute in abundant oil, over high heat. We remove them and place them on absorbent paper, before serving them.
