Hijos de Salvador Rodríguez S.A. was founded in 1947 by D. Salvador Rodríguez and, little by little, has become, with a production of ten million kilos of Spanish cheese per year, one of the most important Spanish cheese producers in Spain and number one in the manufacture of Zamorano cheese.
Over half a century, the same level of care and attention has been maintained as when Don Salvador was making Spanish cheese with his own hands.
We have moved on from collecting milk from the shepherds in the area with a donkey and earthenware jars, to using refrigerated lorries, which preserve all the qualities of the milk during its trip to the production plant.
